Making January a Happier January
Happy new Year. Can you still say that on the 4th January? Guess I just did.
Anyroad. A new month means It’s time for Action for Happiness latest calendar. The theme of this month’s calendar is a Happier January.
The calendar contains a blend of activities to help enhance your happiness including self-care, nutrition, goal setting, gratitude, mindfulness and connecting with others.
For people wanting to further understand the benefits of happiness and health can explore the research titled ‘The Happiness-Health connection’.
The last year has been challenging to say the least. But what this calendar is good at is giving little suggestions for activities that we can control. Which in turn is a good coping mechanism of handling difficult emotions and experiments which if left unchecked could lead to mental ill health.
The calendar signs off with the following quote on Gandhi
“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do in harmony.”
