Delegates of the four-hour MHFA Refresher course will empower you to:

• Keep your awareness of mental health supports current
• Update your knowledge of mental health and what influences it
• Practice applying the Mental Health First Aid action plan

Please note that the MHFA Refresher is only for people who have completed an Adult MHFA 2 Day  or 1 Day, course.

Cost and value of course

Mental Health First Aid England value this course at £125 per person. Just like physical first aid, we recommend that Mental Health First Aiders and MHFA Champions attend a Refresher course every three years. Format

This course is currently offered online. Learning takes place through a mix of presentations, group discussions and workshop activities.

Assessment

There is no formal assessment for this adult mental health first aid course, but delegates must complete all sections of the course.

Certification

On completion of the course, delegates will receive a Mental Health First Aid Refresher certificate.
